The competition GE aviation Challenge was successfully organized at IAE during March and April 2017. 69 students of Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in 30 teams participated the competition. 26 teams successfully submitted handmade fans for final testing. The task was to design and manufacture a fan with use of drink cans material and dimensions for given electromotor. Three best teams won a scholarship and all students and organizers had possibility to attend an excursion to GE Aviation Czech company in Prague.
